| Hometown Hero: Aaron Olson This is a picture of SPC Aaron W. Olson in Ar Ramadi, Iraq with some of the school children that they were handing out back packs to. He was stationed at Camp Ramadi from January 1, 2005 till December 2005. He is a Combat Engineer with 3rd platoon, B company 224 Engineers. His mission in Iraq was a convoy escort and route clearance. Since back in the states he has settled back into the routine of work and enjoying the everyday life of his two children, Kurtis, age 7 and Micah, age 5. He enjoys riding his Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide for relaxation and is a member of the American Legion Riders Iowa Chapter, a group of American Legion members that ride Motorcycles in support of our troops and Veterans.
