| It's Great to Hear from Your Success Line! | ||
Hello All!My name is Neil, I live in Richmond, Va. I am currently employed with a contractor for the Federal Reserve Bank. I work on their currency sorters. The one time in my life I would love to bring my work home with me and can't get past the guards.. lol. My sponsor is Lucille Boling. I met Cille online about two years ago when I was with another network marketing company. We both sort of pitched to each other. She won, I bought some candles. When I started using them I loved them
immediately. So, I ordered some more. My sister, who hasn't been able
to burn a paraffin candle for years due to breathing problems, tried a
couple of my votives. She burned them and was very excited that Mia
Bella Candles had no negative effect on her breathing. This truly
sold me on the product. However, because I had such a bad experience
with the network marketing company I was in, I wasn't so gung ho to
jump right into another one. Cille and I developed a really great
friendship and I have been watching her God Bless, |

Bob & I joined Scent-Sations under Kelly
Wissink. During the four months we have been distributors we have sold
to friends, finished 2 fundraisers, and have our brochures and a votive
sample at numerous doctor's waiting rooms. While presenting the idea of a fundraiser to the Director of Activities at a Healthcare Facility, she told be about a 2 day convention, which we signed up for as vendors. Besides the retail sales we did there, we also booked 2 candle parties and another fundraiser. The attached picture is a promotion my Credit Union is doing called Market Wednesdays. They offer free lunch, music and shopping for their employees as well as the general public. We are booked there the first Wednesday of every month through December. They love our candles! This past week I booked another candle party along with the retail sales. I told Kelly that my new goal is to be a Diamond Distributor by the time I attend the Fall Fling. So far I have signed up 2 distributors with a third one ready to sign up after she watched the presentation CD. My first distributor I met at a craft show, she had the table across from me, and watched the crowd around my table all day long, I gave her a sample votive, she called and ordered a jar the next day and by the end of the week I got an email telling me I had a distributor sign up. This was even before I could approach her with the idea. My second sign up came from an affiliated fuel lead, the same with the third one that I am communicating with at this time. These past four months have been a hectic whirlwind of fun! Thank you, |

| Bad Luck With Boyfriend Finds New Use for Cinnamon Bella Buns | ||
I just got this email from a friend and it
reminded me of another story that is very similar. At my first home
party I gave all the guests a votive of their choice as a thank you for
attending. My sister called me the next day and said she forgot and
left her votive in the car until she got back in to it the following
morning. She called because she just had to tell me how wonderful her
car smelled and how impressed she was from one single blueberry votive.
So perhaps if you have run out of Scent-Sations air fresheners then the
votive or cinnamon bella buns are a good backup:) Carrie Gauthier Subject: New Use for Cinnamon Bun Candles How are you? I hope all is well. I just wanted to take a quick second to let you know I have discovered a new use for my cinnamon bun candles. Over the weekend I picked up a friend who was very upset. We were driving around looking for her car - long story short, sleazy boyfriend borrowed her car and never came back it was already the second day - anyway, she had some ideas where he might have been so we were driving around and she asked me if she could smoke in my car. I quit smoking 10 years ago, and the smell of smoke which I once craved, now makes me ill. But . . . . . she was so upset, how could I say no, so I let her. She opened the window, but after she was gone, the car still smelled like smoke. When I got home, since I didn't have an air freshener or anything - I don't use them, my car still smells new even after 3 years. So I put one of the cinnamon buns in the car over night and now the car smells wonderful! As a matter of fact, when I was driving yesterday the smell of cinnamon buns was making me hungry! Just wanted to tell you how versatile the candles really are LOL! Hugs, |

| The Candle Stand...This Is A Family Business | ||
Back in October 2004 when I signed up with
Scent-Sations, Inc., I had no idea that I was signing up my whole
family. My children have embraced this business as if it were their
own. My son is counting down the days until he can sign up to become a
distributor himself. He’s 8 years old! My children ARE my business partners and help me with all aspects of this business. They put labels on all the products. They alphabetize the scents. My daughters hand out pens and drawing slips at my parties and collect them for me. But, my son has taken selling candles to a whole new level! One Saturday afternoon, my son asked me if he could sell candles. He asks me that a lot so I didn’t think much of it and told him that we didn’t have a party and that I didn’t have plans to sell any that day. He was persistent and said that he wanted to set up a candle stand. I didn’t understand… “You know, Mom, like a lemonade stand.” He took out a little table and some chairs and
recruited his sisters to hand out my business cards and hold a sign. He
chose two dozen assorted votives and set up on the sidewalk in front of
our house. Did he just sit there waiting for people to come to him? No
way!! He waved to cars passing by and stopped people as they walked
by.* He would ask them to smell his favorite candles and his little
sister would hand them a business card. He sold quite a few candles
that day and planted lots of seeds. What a wonderful opportunity we have that even an 8 year old can understand it. Include your children in your businesses and YOU might even learn something from them like I did from my son and his Candle Stand. Kari Andersen |

NASHVILLE, TENN -- I'd like to share a photo
of the beautiful votive flowers that were all made by my husband,
Charlie. He works for a church and the director of the pre-school
ordered 40 of them after she had seen just one. They were used as
centerpieces for an appreciation dinner and then each teacher took one
home as a gift. It was so much fun watching 40 women showing excitement
over our product and Charlie's handiwork. The best part of working our Scent-Sations business together has been his enthusiasm. We spent 10 years in another home-based business and although he was very supportive of my efforts, he did not participate to the degree that he is now with the candles. He's also earned the reputation in our local group as the guy who sticks his finger in the candle liquid to show that it doesn't burn him and then will say "smell my finger"! He has made several display cases for the 16 oz. jars that some of our distributors have purchased and his next project is to churn out the scent samples in the bag! He is perfectly content to sit in front of the big screen TV while he's hard at work, too. If your spouse isn't on board yet, show them this picture! Maybe they'll see that even retired postal workers and church custodians can supplement their income peddling candles! To your scentsational success, Debbie Trombley Diamond Distributor |

| Couple Learns Whole New Language Since Joining Scent-Sations | ||
We had been thinking and looking for a way
to change jobs and start a new business venture. We looked at
Scent-Sations, we joined, got our first Candle of the Month, checked
out our web site and started our business.
We started telling people about our new venture right away. We started
calling and listening to weekly training sessions. And before we knew
it [SNIFF AND TELL] we became a part of the Scent-Sations, Inc. *C.C.C.
Group. We attended Spring Fling 2005 and met owners, company employees and representatives in the business. We visited the Candle Factory site and saw where the back room meets the front room {they both looked the same they just wore different hats}. We gathered a few customers and sponsored a few other new business associates to do the same things we were taught to do and are doing. And we started getting checks from Scent-Sations, Inc. (and cashed them). We’ve learned a whole new language that has helped us become better at what a Scent-Sation, Inc / Mia Bella Independent Representative can do to make money. We made a list of family and friends we wanted as customers and possible business partners. Without pre-qualifying them we were trained;
I’ve been taught there are 3 kinds of people – People that make things happen, people that watch things happen and people that just wonder what’s happening. I have met all three kinds working my Scent-Sations, Inc. business; some have been all 3 in the same day. All are successful Independent Representatives working their Mia Bella business in ways that are comfortable and rewarding to them and their families. Unlike so many other MLM businesses that train, YOU MUST GET OUTSIDE YOUR COMFORT ZONE TO BE SUCCESSFUL. I can’t assure you of what will happen should you join our team of Mia Bella Representatives but I can assure you of what will happen should you decide not to give Mia Bella a try! We all know that to be a winner one must have a ticket to play—[so to speak] – no tickeeeeee no laundry // kaaaapich. It is truly the opportunity and A CANDLE LOVER'S DREAM BUSINESS for us
all. |

| Candle Drawing Draws New Customer! | ||
|
Lisa then explained that she had never had a Mia Bella Candle or a Scent-Sations product ever before. Lisa got the Free Candle Drawing link through a list of places to enter sweepstakes. Lisa entered under Bob's site and won. Lisa said that she used the soap already, Sweet Orange & Chili Pepper, and loved it. She even washed her hair with it and loved the effects. Lisa had already started burning the candle, Hot Apple Pie, and
absolutely fell in love with it. She made a call to corporate offices
and left a message with customer services on Saturday, June 11th. She
needed to know where and how she could purchase additional products. In
the meantime Lisa didn't feel she could wait until Monday, so she
started calling around to find these candles. She was thrilled when on
Sunday the Route 15 Flea Market management told her that they did have
someone that sold the candles. Bill and Darlene Mitchell |

| Becca Mutz Creates New Votive Gifts for Wedding | ||
I’m doing these as table favors for
over 200 wedding guests and thought others might enjoy this easy and
very elegant idea. I purchased the embroidered organza
4”x6” bags through Papermart.com for $.84 each (sold in
quantities of 24 per package) and the frosted votive holders from
Cudge.net for $.50 each (sold in quantities of 72 per case). For this
wedding we are using White Chocolate and Coffee. Papermart has a huge
variety of colors and types of bags, so it’s easy to match color
of the bag and candle with the wedding color theme. These would also make nice little thank you gifts for any occasion. The total cost is under $2.50 and I sell these for $5.00 each. Becca Mutz, Arizona |

| New Distributor is Having a Blast & Keeping Family Involved | ||
It has been a blessing since day one. The
people I have met through selling and just introducing people to the
candles is so much fun! This is such a fun company, a great candle,
awesome support!I have been a sales rep for several different companies, but the support we have with Scent-Sations is very rare. The online conference calls, the numerous phone conference calls, and the online yahoo groups we have keep you motivated and fresh with new ideas. I have fun meeting different distributors and sharing ideas with them. I feel like we have the best candles out
there. I have purchased other “clean burning” candles just
to compare with ours, but Mia Bella’s won ..hands down. I met
another girl where I live and we met for lunch to compare the candles
she makes, but again the scent of our candles were so much superior
than hers. Last night when i got home with my 14 year old he went in to take his shower. He came in the living room with a pink candle (rose scented) and said "faulty candle, faulty candle!" he thought it was one of our candles..it was burning down the middle. I smelled it and said this is not one of our candles...it is paraffin wax!!! It was so funny...how he has gotten used to the way Mia Bella’s candles burn and THOUGHT he had found a bad candle! I have a friend that burns mia bella
candles....she has a air filter in her house...when she burns our
candles she only changes the filter every 3 weeks, but she has a few
paraffin wax candles she had had before...when she burns the paraffin wax
candles, the buzzer goes off on her air filter and she has to change it
every 3 days... I also took a glass candlestick and glued a votive cup on the top of it and added some beaded ribbon on the bottom of the votive. Some have said it looks like a old oil lamp..be sure to get glass to glass adhesive..the glue gun doesn't work as well. You can get the candlestick fairly inexpensive at discount stores. My advice to anyone is to make it fun!!! People want to have fun and to be with fun people!!! Life is too serious, so have fun and make money at the same time! We have a unique product so all we have to do is share the scents... scentsations that is! Elaine Mieth |

| “GRANDMA’S WINDSHIELD” TEACHES THE WHOLE FAMILY THE POWER OF MIA BELLAS! | ||
|
Dear Bob, I just had to write to tell
you a story about Mia Bella's candles and my twelve year old. Alyssa
was tossing rocks out of the yard and one flipped up and hit grandma's
windshield
and shattered it. Well Alyssa knew she was in trouble, and right away decided to earn money to pay the deductible which was $100.00. Alyssa asked if she could sell my candles to pay for the windshield, I thought it would be a good experience for her so I said yes and guess what? Not only did she pay for the deductible, but made $30.00 extra dollars for herself to spend, just going door to door telling her story in the neighborhood. To top it off one of our neighbors is interested in becoming a distributor herself, and it fired up both of my seventeen year old sons. They each started taking candles to school and selling them there, at which the teachers loved them and are wanting to do fundraisers next fall for the schools! Who knew “grandma's windshield” would turn out to be such an “eye opening money maker!!!” I can only imagine if we put our minds to it as a family what we could do. Also this is great that as a family we do Mia Bella's candles together it makes it fun. I just want to say THANKS and May GOD BLESS EVERYONE IN MIA BELLA CANDLES. Thelma Miller |

| Mystic Melon Soap is Worth Getting Grounded For | ||
|
“Just couldn't resist telling you a
cool story about the Candles and the Bella Bars.
My daughter, Mandy came home from school last week informing me that our candles were the talk of the class room. Her teacher has been boycotting the local candle makers since they almost destroyed her wedding. At Christmas we gave her a Lavender candle, which she fell in love with and is now a lifetime customer. Candles came up in classroom conversation and the teacher ended up giving a free commercial all about how great our candles were to the entire classroom!!! Next thing I know the kids were asking Mandy for brochures. One young boy in the class got together with his sisters and decided to purchase the Mystic Melon Bella Bar for his grandmother. The kids had surprised her with it that afternoon. Needless to say, they all enjoyed the bar a great deal. That nite she caught her grandson taking off with it and ended up chasing him around the house informing him that if he didn't give it back she was going to ground him for two weeks. He stopped, turned around and smiled at her and said," Grandma, this Mystic Melon is worth getting grounded for; But, I will give it back because I love you so." Sandy |

| A Day In The Life of A Scent-Sations Distributor | ||
I went to the bank Friday afternoon to make a deposit. I decided to make my deposit through the drive-through window instead of going inside as was in shorts and T-shirt and no makeup, lol. Along with my check, I stuffed 3 votives, 3 brochures and 3 business cards in with my deposit for the ladies at the window. There was a long line of people trying to get their deposits done so they could leave....but those two ladies were sniffing, oooooooooing and ahhhhhhing and asking me lots of questions. I could tell the line of people were getting upset, so I drove off.
Before I got back home, I had 3 messages on my answering machine from one of the ladies from the bank asking me to call her, but the bank was closed when I got home. Saturday (yesterday) morning my doorbell rang about 7:30 a.m. and woke me. It kinda frightened me because I had no idea who would be ringing my doorbell that early, so I grabbed my robe and rushed to the door. It was those two ladies from the bank. So to make a long story short, they spent two hours talking and going through all my inventory. One of the ladies decided on 14 fragrances she likes in the votives that I have in stock and wants to buy jars as well. They asked me to call the Manager Monday (tomorrow) and see if it will be ok to be at the bank at 5:30 p.m. with my sample case and a few jar candles to do the "show and smell", "tell and sell". So I set up a day and time with the Bank Manager and will be taking my sample case along with CDs, brochures, and a few jar candles to show. Maybe she will let me hang out in the bank talking to their customers and handing out brochures and CDs!!!! We'll see what tomorrow brings !! Everyone have a great afternoon and awesome week. God Bless!! Lucille Boling |

| 12 Year Old Shares Her Marketing Technique! | ||
As a guest on a Mia Bella Webcast presentation last month, 12 yr old Tirzah Duncan, shared her 'lifestyle marketing' approach. Having fun promoting her business while running errands with her parents. "I show as I go", she said. "I ask, "Would you like to stick your nose in my business?" She then gave an example: "Like last week, when I had to go with my mom and dad to a realtor's office. They finally got done with their long and boring talking, and I gave the realtor my business card. He was surprised. He said he'd never gotten a business card from someone so young. Turned out, he LOVED our Hot Apple Pie but said he'd forgotten his checkbook. When I told him I take credit cards, he was surprised again and laughed. And whipped out his MasterCard. AND...he said that when he holds the next meeting for all the realtors that work for him, he's gonna let them smell his Hot Apple Pie and tell them all about me! I plan to have a LOT of fun making a LOT of money with this company. And to help a LOT of other kids have fun making money with it, too! Now, I'll turn this over to my coach and business partner, Ann Duncan. Over to you, Mom!" Tirzah's mom feels that, "the secret to Tirzah's success while 'out and about' on family errands is: Tirzah does NOT go out to sell candles. She goes out to have FUN making friends! She delights in practicing what I teach her about genuinely connecting with people, and in increasing her skills. Her sales are a happy result!" Both Tirzah and her mom are very thankful for a company that has SUCH a heart for kids. And that shares their goal to help a lot of families have a lot of fun making money!
